I can already tell, 2015 is going to be an amazing year! I am starting off my year with Cory and John's engagement session! 

I met John when we were 17 years old. We traveled to Australia and New Zealand together for an  ambassador program inbetween our junior and senior year of high school. 
Our firendship continued until after high school, when the inevitable happened. Life got crazy and we lost track of one another...

...Until Facebook! 

After making connections with other friends that had gone on the ambassador trip, I decided I'd see if John was on facebook too, and he was! 

A couple months later, I received a message from John telling me that he and Cory had gotten engaged and that they wanted to meet with me to talk about wedding photography. 

I met Cory and John a couple weeks later in the Dells for coffee, I hadn't seen John in over eleven years! It was amazing and plain as day: These two are meant for eachother.
I always knew John was an incredibly sweet, genuine person. He certainly found someone to match his amazing qualities. I could sit and talk for hours with them!

Here are some images from their January engagemnet session. I am thrilled and so blessed to be the photographer they chose to capture the memories on their wedding day which will be at the Capital in Madison, followed by a goregous reception at the Overture Center!
